Regional Sales Manager NC & VA / Turnkey Projects Manager

CNC Sales Manager with the territory of North Carolina and Virginia.   Partner with 6 Sales Engineers in the territory to find and close “A” account projects.  Act as Project Manager in turnkey production lines. Train customers on our 3, 4, and 5, axis Vertical and/or Horizontal Milling Machines.

  • Quote Machines as well as Fully Automated Production lines (singular projects range from $50,000 – $5 million).

Milling Applications Process/Programming/Implementation.  Hit mandatory turnkey production timelines set by our OEM and TIER 1 customers.  Perform time studies on existing lines to help in our customers continuous improvement efforts.  Train all customers on our 4, and 5, axis Horizontal Machines.

  • Complete entire Automation lines with Machines, Robots and Quality Management Solutions. (singular projects range from $1 – $10 million).
  • Aid in the Design of fixtures, as well as fully automated machining cells that get the job done the quickest and cheapest way possible to retain our global customers.
  • Reduce existing production times attack tolerance issues as well as tool wear issues head on in order to reduce undesirably high scrap and tooling costs.
  • Work closely with tooling companies and Cad Cam companies to test the latest and greatest tools and software.

Production Manager / Engineer

Order tooling and materials and drive continuous process improvement efforts for Machine Division. Perform as Development Engineer. Design weld and machine fixtures and oversee 3-Axis machine programming. Lead hiring and development of Machine Division staff.

  • Reduced past-due hours of Machine Division from 500 to 6 hours in 3 months by re-training staff and instituting mandatory reporting of machining program issues and improvement suggestions.
  • Established daily audits in Machine Division and ensured SOP compliance and proper tool clean-up.
  • Decreased product changeover time from 1:15 minutes to 15 minutes by implementing new paperwork and processes and overhauling product flow of machine shop and tool crib area.
  • Initiated weekly continuous improvement meetings for all divisions to solicit new ideas for saving money and enhancing productivity.
  • Enhanced productivity by designing and producing new weld and machine fixtures with streamlined part set-up processes.
