Additive Manufacturing - FYI

SKĒM-INC: 3D PRINTING COMPLETE FIXTURES WITH SPRINGS!

This post has a few short videos that goes through the Additive Manufacturing SLS workflow.
This first video is of our latest print for a customer that needed some fixtures to keep their parts in position for laser engraving.

3D Printing Nylon 12 with SLS (Selective Laser Sintering)

After Printing the Build chamber needs to cool for a few hours and then gets moved over to the Sift Station. This is where all of the Parts and Supporting Powder get ejected from the Build chamber.
Watch the Nylon Powder Castle raise from the Chamber.

Dig out those parts from the powder cake! Then final touch up cleaning with a vacuum to get the excess powder from the print.

Fixture plates are ready to be packed up and shipped out! Check out that awesome finish!
This setup will hold multiple parts that very in width about 3.5mm and length by about 30mm.
The Plates in the video are just shy of 300mm long!
